The car park at Rye Harbour will open this week, ahead of the bank holiday weekend. This has been a difficult decision as we do not encourage visitors to any part of the parish during the pandemic. But we have no powers to stop them, and for the safety of residents, all visitors will be directed to the car park and away from people’s homes. If you are planning to visit Rye Harbour, Winchelsea, Winchelsea Beach or Icklesham, please look after our residents by only visiting if necessary, keeping 2m away from others, and not parking on street or outside homes. There are no amenities open and the public conveniences are shut. Thank you for keeping our villages safe.

We are now linking up with Rye Mutual Aid Group and will be asking you to register with them via their Facebook page and website. We are all working together to help our neighbours. Please go to: www.ryemutualaid.org for full information.
