Using this website

This website is run by Icklesham Parish Council using WordPress. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

Our website is checked by Silktide for Level A, AA and AAA standards of the WCAG 2.1 which has rated our website as excellent. Our website was last tested on 1st February 2021.

We continue to monitor issues that arise using their live report for our website. We aim to fix them as soon as we are able to.

The Council is reviewing all historic documents and ensuring all future uploaded documents are fully accessible.
